Shuttle X-series barebone X27D is een top systeem in een compacte (7 cm) chassis. Met het MiniITX moederbord is deze barebone geschikt voor de energiezuinige Intel Atom processoren. Deze barebone bevat een fanloos voeding waardoor energie consumptie, hitte en geluid geminimaliseerd blijft. Alle poorten voor de dagelijkse computer behoeften zoals DVI, 5.1 audio, Gigabit LAN en 6 USB poorten zijn al aanwezig op deze barebone. De Shuttle X-series barebone X27D is precies bedoeld voor degene die een ultra-efficient, compact en een stil SOHO platform systeem zoekt. In dit systeem is al een Intel Atom Dual Core processor geintegreerd.
